Privacy Policy (POPIA Notice)
Version 1.0 · Last updated 30 June 2026
This Privacy Policy is issued in compliance with the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 ("POPIA") and explains how VERDIQT, as the Responsible Party, processes personal information.
2.1 Who We Are iNRECO Consulting (trading as VERDIQT), operated by C. Badenhorst (sole proprietor), Pretoria, Gauteng, South Africa. Contact: info@inreco.co.za · +27 84 402 7029.
2.2 What Personal Information We Collect We collect: your name, email address, contact number and billing details when you buy a licence; device identifiers when you activate the App; and basic usage information (which features were opened, error reports) for support purposes.
2.3 Information You Type Into the App About Other People ("User Client Data") When you draft charge sheets, capture hearing minutes or generate outcome letters, you may type personal information about your employees, witnesses or other third parties. That information is stored on your device only. VERDIQT cannot read, access, or retrieve it. You are the Responsible Party for that data under POPIA, and you must give those individuals the required POPIA notice.
2.4 Why We Process Your Personal Information To deliver the App and activate your licence; to process payments and keep tax/accounting records; to provide customer support; to comply with legal obligations; to send you important service communications (changes to these Terms, security notices); and — with your separate, specific consent — to send marketing communications about VERDIQT, DomestiSure, or related iNRECO products, which you may withdraw at any time.
2.5 Who We Share Information With We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with: our payment processor (Payfast / Network Group Holdings) to process transactions; our hosting and identity provider (Lovable Cloud, built on Supabase) for account sign-in and order records; and authorities where required by law.
2.6 Where Information Is Stored Account information is stored on servers located within or accessible from South Africa via Lovable Cloud / Supabase. Payment information is held by Payfast under their own privacy terms. User Client Data is stored only on your device — it never leaves it.
2.7 How Long We Keep It For as long as your licence is active, and thereafter for the period required by tax, accounting and POPIA-record-keeping obligations.
2.8 How We Protect It We use encryption in transit (HTTPS), access controls on our backend, and limit staff access to what is necessary. No system is 100% secure; we will notify you and the Information Regulator without unreasonable delay of any compromise that affects your personal information, as required by POPIA.
2.9 Your Rights You have the right to access the personal information we hold about you; to ask us to correct or delete it; to object to processing and to withdraw consent for marketing; and to lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at info@inreco.co.za.
2.10 Information Regulator Contact Details Information Regulator (South Africa): JD House, 27 Stiemens Street, Braamfontein, Johannesburg, 2001. Email: complaints.IR@justice.gov.za · Website: www.justice.gov.za/inforeg/.
